WINNING CONDITIONS

In addition to possessing 1 Golden Star badge (earned by winning a Challenge round), the player must successfully move (place a colored token) to all of the following areas by correctly answering questions on the question cards corresponding to the respective provinces/cities:

  • 2 provinces/cities in the Midland and Northern Mountainous region with group 1 squares

  • 2 provinces/cities in the Midland and Northern Mountainous region with group 2 squares

  • 1 province/city in the North Central Coast and Mekong Delta with group 4 squares

  • 1 province/city in the Central Highlands with group 5 squares


SPECIAL PRIVILEGES

If a player lands on a province/city square that corresponds to the ethnic group area they represent, they receive a special privilege (can only be claimed ONCE per game):

  • Confiscate 2 province/city markers from other players on the board and return them to the bank OR

  • Convert 1 province/city marker from another player into their own marker

ETHNIC GROUP INFORMATION

Origin and History: The Nùng people mostly originate from Guangxi, China, and migrated to Vietnam around 200-300 years ago. They migrated in search of new places to live and opportunities for socio-economic development.


Religion and Beliefs: They worship many deities, including Tào, Mo, Pựt, and Then. Important rituals include offerings and traditional festivals.


Arts: Their folk literature features Then rituals and Sli singing. Traditional musical instruments include the Đàn tính.


Clothing:

  • Material: Handwoven coarse fabric, without complex decoration

  • Men wear shirts with standing collars

  • Women wear five-panel blouses fastened with buttons at the side


Cuisine:

  • Main staples: Ordinary rice and glutinous rice

  • Dishes: Sticky rice, bánh chưng (square sticky rice cake), and other local specialties


Housing:

Traditional stilt houses with tiled roofs, structured into three levels for different uses, including storage lofts for food and drying platforms at the front
