GAME RULES
PLOT
Players play the role of cultural and heritage conservationists and developers. They are on a journey across Vietnam with the mission of discovering and protecting the traditional values of 54 ethnic groups and the country of Vietnam. Each player represents an ethnic group. Together, they will face challenges, decode cultural mysteries and complete the assigned mission to bring back the title "RANG RO VIET NAM" for their people.
PREPARE
-
Each player randomly selects an ethnic card and places it publicly on the board (other players are allowed to see the card and scan the QR code if needed).
-
Each player is given 20 coins, including: 10 coins (1 card); 5 coins (1 card); 2 coins (2 cards); 1 coin (1 card).
-
Each player chooses 1 movement token and a set of tokens marked with the corresponding color.
-
Divide the question cards into 7 piles according to each system color; next to it is 1 pile of challenge questions and 1 pile of function cards.
-
Check the bank has: Treasure Book, Gold Star badge and fund.
WINNING CONDITIONS
Only one player wins when he is the first to meet all of the following criteria:
WAY TO WIN #1:
-
Place flags in all of the character's designated provinces/cities/regions (Scan the QR code on the character card to see the quest).

Own 1 Gold Star badge (win in Challenge round).
-
After achieving the above two conditions, the chess piece needs to end up in a province or region where its people live.
WINNING WAY 2:
-
Place flags in at least 2 of the character's designated provinces/cities/regions (Scan the QR code on the character card to see the quest).
-
Own 5 Gold Star badges (win in Challenge round).
WINNING WAY #3: Within the time set by the group of players, whoever completes more winning conditions will be the winner.
***Note:
-
Before starting the game, players should agree on a common winning condition for the entire game.
-
If any player runs out of money (no more coins on the table), that player loses and leaves the game.

SELECT TOKEN AND TABLE SETTING AREA
Each player takes turns rolling 2 dice to choose the area to place the token. Players have the right to choose any province/city in the specified area to place their troops. If the number of buttons is:

2 or 12: player can choose any area
-
3 or 11: Northern midland and mountainous region
-
4 or 10: South Central Coast or Central Highlands
-
5 or 9: North Central region
-
6 or 8: Red River Delta or Southeast region
-
7: Mekong Delta region

Each player chooses 1 of 5 random actions to perform during their turn: Move; Look up information; Earn money; Challenge; Buy functional cards
2.1. MOVEMENT ACTION
Choose 1 of the following 4 means of transport to perform the action of moving: car; train; boat; plane

2.1.1
TRAVEL BY CAR

Move to many provinces/cities at once.
-
Costs 2 cents/city.
2.1.2
TRAVEL BY PLANE
-
Only used in provinces/cities with airports and landing at the airport of any other province/city.
-
Costs 8 cents/1 move.
-
Benefits: Receive 1 transfer voucher corresponding to the airport you just landed at (1 free transfer to a city adjacent to the city with the airport)

TRAVEL BY BOAT
-
Only used in provinces/cities with ports and landing at the port of any other province/city.
-
Costs 6 cents/1 move.
-
After building the port, when going to a neighboring province/city, you still have to pay as when traveling by car.

2.1.4
TRAVEL BY TRAIN
-
Only used in provinces/cities that have a station and land at the station of any other province/city in the same region or in an adjacent region (Midlands ⇔ Red River Delta; Red River Delta ⇔ North Central; North Central ⇔ South Central; South Central ⇔ Southeast)
-
Costs 4 cents/1 move
-
After getting off the station, you still have to pay the fare to the neighboring province/city as when taking the bus.

IN THE ACTION OF MOVEMENT:
-
When the main player moves to a province/city square, they will draw a question card corresponding to that province/city.
-
All players (including the main player) must participate in answering the question.
-

ANSWER PROCESS
-
All players read the question and choose answer A/B/C by holding the marked token in the palm of their hand:
• 1 token = A
• 2 tokens = B
• 3 tokens = C -
After 5-10 seconds, everyone puts their hands in the middle of the table, opens their hands and checks the results.

RESULT
-
Main players:
-
If the answer is correct: Move the piece to a new square.
-
If the answer is incorrect: Stay in the old cell and still have to pay the moving fee.
-
-
Other players:
-
If the answer is correct: No penalty.
-
If the answer is wrong: Each person pays 2 cents to the bank.
-

SPECIAL BENEFITS
-
If you land on a province/city square that belongs to the ethnic group that the main player owns, you will receive special benefits (can only be received ONCE during the game):
-
Confiscate 2 flags marking any province/city of another player from the board and return them to the bank OR
-
Convert another player's province/city flag into your own.
-

-
NOTE:
-
Special benefits can only be received once during the game.
-
If blocked by a function card, the player may exercise the right on the next turn if he wishes.
-
2.2. TREASURE BOOK
-
The player pays 2 coins to the bank to own the Treasure Book.
-
Time of use: Players must return the Treasure Book when it is their next turn (unless another player buys it or claims ownership).
-
The next players who want to use the Treasure Book, they have the right to:
-
Buy back by paying 3 coins to the player in use.
-
Or claim ownership by paying 2 coins to the bank and 2 coins to the person holding the Treasure Book.
-
-
The rules for owning and using Treasure Book also apply to the "TREASURE HUNTER" function card.

2.3. MONEY-MAKING ACTIONS
-
The player bets on any number X (2 ≤ X ≤ 12). After betting, the player rolls the dice:
-
If the dice number is greater than X, you get X coins.
-
If the dice number is X, then X coins are doubled.
-
If the dice number is less than X, you get 2 coins .
-

2.4. CHALLENGE ACTION
-
Players choose another person to challenge (the chosen person cannot refuse). Each person bets 5 coins.
-
Two people take turns rolling the dice. The person with the higher number gets to choose who answers the question.
-
The chosen person will draw 1 challenge question card and answer:
-
If the answer is correct: That person wins.
-
If the answer is wrong: The remaining person wins.
-
-
Prize for the winner:
-
1 Gold Star badge (if not already present).
-
1 function card (random draw).
-
Total bet.
-
-
Note: If the winner already has a Gold Star badge, he/she will only receive the function card and bet money, not the additional badge.

2.5. ACTION TO PURCHASE FUNCTIONAL CARDS
-
Người chơi trả 2 xu để mua ngẫu nhiên 1 thẻ chức năng.
-
Sau khi sở hữu, người chơi có thể sử dụng thẻ bất cứ lúc nào (không cần đợi đến lượt) bằng cách lật bài ngửa.
-
Thẻ chức năng chỉ sử dụng được một lần, sau đó trả về ngân hàng để các lượt mua tiếp theo có thể sử dụng.
-
Lưu ý: Mỗi người chơi chỉ được sở hữu tối đa 3 thẻ chức năng cùng lúc. Nếu đã có đủ 3 thẻ và muốn mua thêm, người chơi bắt buộc phải sử dụng 1 trong 3 thẻ hiện có trước.
