WINNING CONDITIONS

In addition to possessing one Golden Star badge (earned by winning a Challenge round), the player must successfully move (place their colored token) to all of the following regions by correctly answering questions from the cards that correspond to the respective provinces/cities:

  • One province/city in the Northern Midland and Mountainous Region with a Group 1 tile

  • One province/city in the North Central Region with a Group 2 tile

  • One province/city in the Central Highlands with a Group 3 tile

  • One province/city in the Mekong Delta with a Group 4 tile

  • One province/city in the Red River Delta with a Group 5 tile


SPECIAL PRIVILEGE

If the player lands on a province/city belonging to the living area of the ethnic group they currently represent, they receive a special privilege (only ONCE per game):

  • Confiscate 2 province/city flags of any other player from the board and return them to the bank, OR

  • Convert 1 province/city flag of another player into their own flag.

ETHNIC GROUP INFORMATION

  • Origin and Migration: The San Diu people originated from the Dao ethnic group in China. Due to oppression under the Chinese feudal system, they migrated to Vietnam in search of a place to live and develop.

  • Marriage Customs: Their wedding traditions are rich and ceremonial, including a "flower wine" ceremony before the official wedding.

  • Worship Practices: They worship ancestors, the Earth god, the village guardian, and the Kitchen gods.

  • Festivals: The Winter Solstice Festival holds special meaning, as they pray for abundant offspring.

  • Calendar: They follow the lunar calendar.

  • Music and Dance: They perform antiphonal love songs between men and women, known as "Soọng Cô" singing.


Traditional Attire:

  • Women: Wear black headscarves, double-layer long shirts (in indigo and white), red bras, long indigo skirts, leggings, and silver jewelry.

  • Men: Typically wear single-layer long shirts or short jackets and white trousers, sometimes with headscarves.


Cuisine:

They eat regular rice, sometimes accompanied by cassava, sweet potatoes, and thin porridge.


Housing:

  • Style: Wooden stilt houses with thatched or palm leaf roofs

  • Layout: Living space, kitchen, sleeping area, and granary

  • Structure: Wooden frame, walls made of wood or bamboo, sloping roof

  • Interior: Simple, featuring a fire stove, sleeping area, and rice storage
