WINNING CONDITIONS

In addition to possessing 1 Golden Star badge (earned by winning a Challenge round), players must also successfully move (place a colored token) to all of the following locations by correctly answering a question from the card that corresponds to the relevant province/city:

  • Lâm Đồng Province

  • 1 province in the Central Highlands (Tây Nguyên) with a Group 1 tile

  • 1 province in the South Central Coast with a Group 3 tile

  • 1 province in either the Northern Midland and Mountainous Region or Southeast Region with a Group 4 tile

  • 1 province in the Central Highlands (Tây Nguyên) with a Group 5 tile


SPECIAL PRIVILEGE

If a player lands on a province/city that belongs to the traditional living area of the ethnic group they represent, they receive a special privilege (only ONCE per game):

  • Confiscate 2 province/city flags of any other player from the board and return them to the bankOR

  • Convert 1 flag of another player into your own flag

ETHNIC GROUP INFORMATION

Origin and History: Belonging to the Indonesian anthropological group, they were co-creators of the Sa Huỳnh culture and part of the southern domain of the Đông Sơn culture. With a history dating back over 2,500 years, they are indigenous inhabitants of the Central Highlands.


Traditional Social Structure:They live in communal villages (bon/bòn), often tightly knit and led by a village chief (kuang bòn/quăng bon/khoa bon). They organize into M’drông alliances.


Family Structure: Composed of extended and nuclear families, following a matrilineal system.


Religion and Beliefs: They follow polytheistic beliefs, worshiping spirits and deities. In recent times, traditional beliefs have declined with the spread of Catholicism and Protestantism.


Festivals and Rituals: They hold many traditional celebrations, especially the New Rice Festival (li rơ bong), and the Buffalo Stabbing Ceremony, which is performed after every 3 or 7 farming seasons.


Traditional Attire: Men wear loincloths, women wear short skirts and wraps (ùi). They practice ear-stretching with rings or ivory, and blackened teeth are a common beauty practice.


Cuisine: Their diet includes both glutinous and plain rice. Festive meals are a mix of traditional dishes. They enjoy drinking rice wine, chewing betel, and smoking.


Housing:They live in long stilt houses (hìu jòng) or earthen houses.
